Mr. George W. Singleton is a South Carolina native. In 1980 he graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, SC and in 1984 graduated from Furman University with a BA in Political Science. In 2009 he became certified as a National Career Development Facilitator for the Educational Development Act and earned his Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University, Greenville Metropolitan Campus.

From 1984 to 1996, Mr. Singleton played in the National Basketball Association for the Los Angeles Lakers for a brief period of time followed by 11 years playing professionally in Europe. Prior to his professional career in basketball, Mr. Singleton served as Director of Basketball Camps and Head Assistant Basketball Coach working with various South Carolina College and Junior College teams. He is the former President and CEO of Aggressive Sports International, and currently serves as the Vice President/ COO of Upstate Circle of Friends in Greenville, SC.

Mr. Singleton's career with community involvement since Greenville Technical College led him to serve over the years on multiple boards with goals to improve lives within Greenville. Currently serving on Greater Good Greenville board, Mr. Singleton is a very much "go to" person, emboding the spirit of citizenry, spiritually, scholastically, professionally, and collaboratively for community benefit. Above all, he is a committed and devoted father to his three children Tristein, Joemai, and Imarie Singleton.
